cats and babies

why are there still so many misinformed, ignorant people who think that cats are all out to harm babies?? also fedup of people asking me if i'm getting rid of my cats just cuz a baby is on the way. My furbabies were HERE FIRST and there's no way I'm getting rid of them!!
